About the British
Warm-Blood Society
Founded in 1977, The
British Warm-Blood Society is devoted to producing pedigree
horses for competitions at top-level using proven Warm-Blood
lines and we are a full member (Cat.A) of the
World Breeding
Federation for Sports Horses.
The best European
bloodlines can be found in Britain within the British
Warm-Blood Society and in order to maintain a high standard,
strict quality controls are enforced to keep the standard on
a par with those abroad.
We run a grading
process with foreign judges twice a year and only those
stallions and mares that pass the grading are recognised for
breeding purposes within the society and our annual summer
show promotes the progeny from these graded parents. Our
stallion grading also includes a Presentation Class for
young imported stallions and we can overstamp other breed
society documents, where eligible, to enable them to take
part in our gradings and shows. Progeny are eligible for
either pink or white papers and there is an option for stock
to be branded.
The aim of the Society
is to produce sound, athletic and modern Warm-Blood
competition horses with excellent movement, suitable for all
disciplines and to have the British teams mounted on British
Warm-Bloods. |
